Task 09: Remediate Duplicates

Hi everyone,

I am working on a CMDB Health lab related to Duplicate CI Remediation, but I am facing an issue where duplicate tasks are not getting created.

Here is what I have already done:

- Created duplicate CIs (same name under cmdb_ci_server)

- Verified CI Identifier rule (active, using "name" attribute)

- Checked CMDB Duplicate Identification Rules (active)

- Tried running background script:

  new CMDBDuplicateTaskUtils().createDuplicateTasks();

- Checked Scheduled Job: "De-duplication: Populate Duplicate Task Data" but I do not have "Execute Now" option

- Refreshed CMDB Workspace and Insights multiple times

Issue:

- Duplicate CI Remediation tasks are not getting created

- Duplicate CI Remediations table is empty

Question:

Is there any additional configuration or role required to generate duplicate tasks in a lab instance?

Or is this a limitation of the lab environment?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
