Hi all!
I was checking the OOTB tables for Virtual Machine.
What is the difference between Virtual Machine HyperVisor [cmdb_ci_vm] and Virtual Machine Instance [cmdb_ci_vm_instance]? and can you give me an example?

A
is a physical server running VMware ESXi, an entry in the Virtual Machine Hypervisor [cmdb_ci_vm] table.B
andC
are virtual machines running on the VMware ESXi hypervisor, entries in the Virtual Machine Instance [cmdb_ci_vm_instance] table.
A hypervisor, also known as a virtual machine monitor (VMM), is software, firmware, or hardware that creates and runs virtual machines (VMs)
Hope it helps
