Hello Everyone,
I have asked to set up discovery for devices classified as personal computers such that we can monitor them. I would like to know what is required to start discovering the personal computer class?
Thank you all for helping me out.

The term "personal computer" is so broad it is hard to give precise answer. But ultimately it boils down to making sure that the discovery process has access to those. Both in terms of network reachability and operating sistem session.

Depending on existing ServiceNow licensing and what exactly "personal computer" means, Agent Client Collection might be the solution.

Well, some of those are definitely not personal computers. Each of those has multiple options for a discovery process to connect to it, classify it, identify it and explore it. Really, if you ask me, this is basically an implementation discussion, where one needs to know the licensing that exists and the infrastructure. A lot of possible configurations all depending on what exists in the infrastructure and what has been licensed. Without knowing the specifics, the answer to your question is basically retyping here the documentation pertaining to Discovery. At least in my opinion.
