Hello Experts,
At present in our instance some of the out of the band devices having description "Cisco Integrated Management Controller" are being discovered as IP Switches by discovery.
And it is working fine for Dell and HP but not for Cisco.
Any reason of this?
Any type of help would be appreciated.

Hi,
I would say you can change because if you create multiple entries with same OID then it will cause issues for you.
So please change.

Hi,
This OIDs are added every release which is decided by servicenow as per experts advise.
But if you think that it doesnot suite you, you have to configure it on own.
You can raise a enhancement request with servicenow for this.

Hello Ashutosh,
Should I manually update inactive the snmp IDS and create new OIDs or not?
Does it will have any impact on future release.
This is because I ave found some Aricles in which ServiceNow have mentioned that it might be solved in future.
Also we have some servers discovered as Ip Switch as mentioned in Kb aritcle 1 but its snmp oid is different so should i manually update the entry just like out of the band devices or not?
