adding a hyperlink in microsoft word to open servicenow catalog item can it be done? :)

wondering if i can add a hypherlink in a word document that wil redirect me to a service catalog page/item request. i have tried insert regular hyper-link and goes to servicenow log-in page logs me in put then it is blank any ideas?

It lacks the id of the catalog you are try to open. Go to the catalog in maintain item, open it and click try it button. Now use the link and copy the part as suggested in the post and try using it ..

when doing this the guide says CLICK TRY IT   for me it did not give me the URL there i had to click on preview item... and take the URL from a pop up window(live preview was displayed and there was the URL)   i am also on google chrome FYI
