Can any one share your thoughts on this asap??

I need to store & maintain Domain Name registrations in servicenow.

  1.  Domain Name | Vendor / Partner | Costs | Expiration Date | Purchase Date | Contract Renewal Date | Type (Parent Domain / Sub Domain)

I should be able to get notified on contract renewal dates and so on, etc. I would prefer to have an OOB solution rather than creating a custom table.

We only have ITSM Pro license & OOB - HW / SW available.

Hello,

You can generally archive this by adding contract records for each of the domain names. These can be seen as "normal" assets to you company. Optionally you can create the domains themselves as assets as well, then make sure that contracts cover these assets.

Contracts themselfs are ootb records within the asset management. The contract management itself comes with a Contract renewal workflow (servicenow.com). These can be used to trigger workflows automatically once contracts are close to be expired. Through these workflows you can generate tasks and notifications as usual.

In short: Use the ootb contract management. Optionally create assets for each domain covered by a contract.

Hope this helps,

Regards
