Hi,
I have installed Walk up experience plugin in my personal developer instance. impersonated as Walkup test user, got "authorization error". Then Searched in community and understood that the user should have only one role (sn_walkup.walkup_login) so checked the test user's role and found that it has both "sn_walkup.walkup_login" and "snc_internal" role. Removed snc_internal role and again I tried to impersonate but "SNC_internal" role is automatically added when the user log's in. Please help me to understand the issue in accessing the walkup portal.
Thanks.

Hey,
First things first:
The sn_walkup.walkup_login role cannot be added to a user who already has a role.
Resolution
There are two ways to access these portal pages:
- Create an ESS user and assign 'sn_walkup.walkup_login' role; impersonate ESS user to access the portal. (NOTE: There is logic in place that will prevent assigning this role if the user already has some other role assigned), or
- A new user, 'Walkup User', is included with the Walk-up plugin. Admin/Maint can impersonate this user to access the portal pages.

To answer your 2nd question:
Explicit Roles plugin
When the Explicit Roles plugin is activated:
- All users must have the snc_internal role to access internal resources or the snc_external role to access external resources. Users without either explicit role can access only public resources.
- All existing users are automatically assigned the snc_internal role. This role does not change existing access levels or system behavior. Instead, it provides a category to differentiate internal users from external users. All internal users maintain the same level of access as before the plugin was activated.

Hi Arul,
Create a new user and just pass the 'sn_walkup.walkup_login', 'sn_walkup.walkup_admin' role and try to log in, it must work.
