Hi,
When user clicks on implement, actual; start date gets populated
and when one clicks on review , actual end date gets populated
we have requirement that the actual start date and actual end date should be within planned start and end dates else an alert comes up.
When actual end date is outside planned end date, then a popup comes and user has to fill the reason why it is outside planned end date?
Please help with the issue
Thanks.

Hi there,
Have you considered using a (Catalog) UI Policy to achieve date validations? There's almost no-code needed to achieve date validations this way. Have a look at an article I wrote on this:
No Code date validations thru (Catalog) UI Policies
If my answer helped you in any way, please then mark it as helpful.
