Hi Guys,
We have created a custom Table called as B2B Technical support which extends the Base table which is the OOTB Case Table in servicenow.
We want to change the Label of “Number” field to “Case Reference” of the newly created Custom Table i.e “B2B Technical Support”.
Trying to achieve this with the help of Dictionary entry but unable to do the same as the label shows in read only fashion and do not have option to change the same.
Can someone help with their expertise steps to change the same.
Thank you.
Regards,
Shweta D

Hi
if you open the respective dictionary entry via right-click on the "Number" label,
you are redirected to to base table "task" and yes this label you cannot be changed. If you changed that label all task-inherited tables would get that label.
To change the label for your custom table scroll down to the related list section "Labels" and click "New":
In the next dialog you will see your custom table and the "Number" field already preselected. Then just add your new label and save.

Hi Maik,
Thanks for your inputs.
I tried with the above steps.
On my Custom Table did Right click and moved to Dictionary entry, but when we navigate to the base table it doesn't show my custom Table.
My Base Table is the Case Table, but by clicking on Dictionary Entry on B2B Technical Support Table its moving to the Task table and doesn't allow me to change the label.
