Dear All,
I'd need valuable input for our new Change Management implementations.
1. How do we set up a 'Change schedule? My understanding is agents can go and create a Change schedule as per their preference. However, if there is one that should show all CRs then the admin needs to create one and make it available to everyone. Is this understanding right?
2. Do we need to configure the maintenance window that should be available for planning all changes? Without it, there is always gives a warning saying that the planned time is incorrect.
3. I found the below lines in the change management scoping guide in Now create. Do they refer there will be some cost with the number of windows that we create in the system? How can I get more information on this?
"Determine the number of change windows(maintenance schedule) to be configured. There is a cost per change window."
"Determine the number of blackout windows to be configured. There is a cost per blackout window"
"There is a cost per standard change."

1 - not sure of your definition for agents but as an ITIL user I can create a change schedule and share it with everyone or specific user/groups/roles:
2 - if you don't have any maintenance windows, then you don't need one.
3 - not sure on that question.

Hello Mr. Michael,
Many thanks for the support.
My last question was about the cost that is mentioned and I was surprised to find that line.
Anyhow, have you seen systems with multiple blackout schedules configured? if there is any info related to the number of blackout schedules and limitations if any would help me.
