Hi there!
Is correct to think that Change Types (https://docs.servicenow.com/en-US/bundle/tokyo-it-service-management/page/product/change-management/...) is the same that Change Models (https://docs.servicenow.com/en-US/bundle/vancouver-it-service-management/page/product/change-managem...)? Or Change Types are inside of Change Models?
What do you guys think?
Thank you!
Regards,
Joatan Fontoura

Hi @Joatan Fontoura : Change model is different from change type.
You can build your own process using change model and define set of state inside that change model and based on that you can define flow on it.
OOTB change type is based on ITIL framework, if your organization have different vision to drive change process then they can use change model and build it in ServiceNow.

Change types according to ITIL were: Normal, Emergency, Routine . Routine changes by definition should have Change Models.
