Also just overall exposure to the platform but if you go on the servicenow learning there's a fundamentals course which helped.

Hi RD,

I found studying the book to be beneficial - also it pay to ensure you are aware of the 'blueprint' for the exam so you know what areas to concentrate on. This is the latest link from ServiceNow.

Other keys for me were the Quizlet website -plenty of CSA study options there, just do a search for ServiceNow or CSA. These were really useful for cementing knowledge and you can also create your own cards. Some answers aren't correct, but after a while you'll know these as you work through the material.

Also don't overthink it, this is a relatively simple exam in terms of the requirements and what you learn on the course. The difference between Client and Service Side and what the likes of Business rules, Client Script, UI Policies are and why you could choose one over the other are also important.

They like you to know the actual role, table, plug-in names as well, so make sure you know these.

There is no substitute for platform subject knowledge and hands on expertise.Ensure you are fully done with the thorough study of fundamental course modules and going through each section of the Exam blueprint.

Exam dumps or practice sets are not a secret to exam success BUT will check your confidence and readiness in dealing with different types of questions. Setting a right expectation of outcome is a key here.

Try the simulator practice tests on Udemy/Quizlet to validate your preparation and see where you stand and where you lack context. Come back to ServiceNow learning to cover gaps of understanding and cover areas of improvement noticed in practice tests. Explanation provided with each answer does help improve your vocabulary, Never seen majority of stuff going wrong on these practice sets, except for some minute misses that could be covered with self study.

I have seen many people passing CSA/CAD exam in first attempt with the help of practice tests. It depends on your own ServiceNow expertise, ability to handle confusing questions and the quality of referance content and question bank correctness. Most importantly, Do not memorize answers to practice tests. That is a trap most fall into. ServiceNow exam preparation courses are best rated curated courses listed in IT certification on Udemy, so know what is best for you.

When you get to the point where you review and stop having significant "ah-ha" moments, you're probably ready for the main exam. Good luck and wish you the best !
