Custom incident table

Hi all,

 

We have a service desk team which is tracking issues on spreadsheet and we would like to onboard them into ServiceNow but the issue is that that they follow a non standard approach to document their issues. This means we have to create few custom fields for this team. The size of this team is not significant and so it does not make sense to create custom fields for just one team.

 

One suggestion was to create a custom table and inherit the incident table. Any other suggestions?

one approach would be to have a record producer which can have multiple questions/variables and those fields are then combined on incident forms description fields.

 

this way you will continue to manage your orgs incidents on incident table and support this team.
