Customer Visible not appearing on Additional Comments in Helsinki ?

Hi All,

Recently we upgraded our instance from Eureka to Helsinki, and we noticed that the Additional Comments field behavior got changed. Now the label "Customer Visible" is not appearing sometimes and sometimes it starts to appear. So could someone please let us know how can we make it visible in all conditions in Helsinki.

In the above snapshot "Customer Visible" is not appearing. Ideally it should appear, then only users will come to know that comments entered in this field will be visible to end user. Could someone please guide me on this.

It has to do with the Activity Formatter in UI16 - Geneva UI16 - Override New Journal Fields Behaviour?



The formatter will hide the comments and notes journal fields and present new ones when editing a record.   That is why right-clicking does not show the menu - they are not the "normal" fields that contain the menus.   The formatter leaves the fields alone when creating a new record.   That is why you are seeing different behaviour.



What patch are you running? I just tried my Helsinki instance running Patch 7 and the "(Customer visible)" string appears in both cases (creating and updating a record).

We are at Helsinki Patch 8, still we are not able to see.

As a workaround we have inactivated the script and have Updated the label by appending "Customer Visible" in the label.
