Difference between Import sets and Integrations?

more or less sharing data is common between both import sets and integrations then what makes difference in while opting them? when we go for integrations and when we go for import sets?

Hi Manikanta,

The import sets and integration are two different things but you can use import sets in integration in order to map the data in ServiceNow tables.

Import Sets :- The import sets are used to import the data in ServiceNow from external sources like excel, JDBC, etc. The data is imported in the ServiceNow and then, mapped in the relevant ServiceNow tables. The data can be imported manually one time, or we can schedule the periodic import to happen automatically.

Integration:- Servicenow prefer integration whenever we want to fetch the data from their party or to push the data into third party apps so that we can use their services.
