Email Not Visible In Worknotes of the incident

Hello all,

Email notification that are being sent are not visible in work notes of the incident but they are visible in the notification section, can someone suggest some suggestions to resolve this

Unless someone or a script types into the WorkNotes field nothing will show there. Also an email may be generated for a work note update but the email is more than just the worknote it can contain other fields . thats why email is its own entity as an activity log item.

Hello @bammar ,

It was there and now it isn't there.  The email notifications that are visible in work notes arent visible anymore. I have been checking the business rules, plus the email notification is being generated, it is there in notifications.

Hi,

First on "Email Properties" module you need to check if the property

Roles that can view email in the Activity formatter when including "Sent/Received Emails"

Has the correct roles you require and verify the user ones. After that, configure the Filter Activity > Configure available fields to check if is included "Sent/Recieved Emails".

You have to update your filter activity.
