Hi All,
Before Helsinki upgrade, when we pass the CI name in the node value of Event table, the CI field of the alert will automatically populated. After Helsinki upgrade, the CI field of alert is empty. This is the message I get in Processing notes.
Binding alert CI process flow:
Event CI type is empty
No CI found for binding (Failed to resolve the event node to CI id)
Please advise.

Hi,
I can't help you much without seeing the Event Rule you're using to set the ci_identifier field or the CI type you're binding to (need to understand what fields to search on and the CI class name). If you send me some screenshots I can probably sort out your issue.

Hi Branton,
We are getting the same error as below:
Binding alert CI process flow:
Event CI type is empty
No CI found for binding (Failed to resolve the event node to CI id)
We used the OOB Event Rule AWS host binding and created a new Alert Action Rule for creation of incident if the source is AWS cloudwatch. Please let us know, if any one encountered similar issue, if so, please let us know, how is it fixed. If not, please suggest any solutions.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Vani
