Not able to search call records from global search: I want to search Call [new_call] table records from global search therefore I have

added new_call table under the tasks global search group. When I have done this then I got a message saying 'The new_call table

was not text indexed so indexing has automatically begun. Searches against this table will return accurate results when indexing

completes'. After that I have checked the 'Text Index' checkbox present on the dictionary form for new_call table. But still I am not

able to search call records from global search. When I tried to search then I found as shown in the screenshot below. Can anyone

guide me what should I have to do to search call records?

Please try to re-index , Navigate to Dictionary entry for new_call and click on UI action Generate Text Index and see if that works.

It worked. Now I am able to search call records. Thank you guys for your quick answers..

when i click on 'Generate Text Index' link then I found that there is an entry created on Text Index [ts_index_name] table.

The searching of call records has nothing to do with alm_asset table because now I have made text index = false for this table and still I am able to search call records

Hi Bharath,

I am also facing the same issue with Task Table. I have checked Text Index on dictionary, I have select V4 Format in text index configuration. i have also generated and after some changes i have also regenerate the text index . Now i can see Task table in text index configuration but when i am going to add it in a text index group here i am not able to see. where am i doing wrong? Please guide
