How do I write a scripted performance analytics indicator?

Hi everyone, 

Does anyone know any article or learning material on how to create a scripted performance analytics indicators? 

On the indicator form there is a way to sum up the results based on a script, see below. So I have a certain logic that I would like to apply and I would like to learn more about this? What are the parameters to pass? What are the parameters to return for the indicator output and how to return??
