How to add gear icon in a list view?

How do I add gear icon in a list view? Demand and other list do not show gear icon but only a white box where the gear icon usually is to add fields..

This is London version.

Gear icon is available for all lists.

Please try clearing cache by cache.do on your instance to see if it resolves issue.

I suspect this  may also an issue with your browser.Try in chrome.

Hi there might be a role configured in the UI Properties that determines if user will be able to personalize a list. Navigate to System Properties -> UI Properties then check if there is a role added who are allowed to personalise a list. If yes maybe the user does not have this role. Set this to blank to allow ALL users to personalize list
