Hi,
Please find the steps below to achieve your requirement:
1) Navigate to the module "Topics" module under Content Taxonomy as shown below:
Now say for example open the Computer Record and there you can define your catalog items under "Connected Content" as shown below:
Click on New Button and then select Content Type as Catalog item and select your Catalog Item as shown below:
