Hey all..
I have an Excel file that I have created with assets that I'd like to import to a Stockroom that I've also created and can't figure out how to do it.
I have uploaded the file and set it up with its own Import tabel. I then go into Table Transform map.. it comes up with my Source table, but what I don't know is what to set as the Target Table. If I set it as "stockroom" and then go to map assist, it shows the target table and its not the table of the stockroom I wish to use... well, it is, but its not the "hardware" portion of the stockroom that the data needs to go to.
How can I make it so that the data goes to the right place?
I recognized that I could just import it to assets alone, and then manually adjust the data to the stockroom of my choice, but this would be very tedious for hundreds of devices. Is there no way to specify a target table within a stockroom?
Thank you!

Hi David,
Thank you for the followup.
In the end I was able to get the data imported and into the "alm_hardware" table with the correct mapping of fields.
I scrapped the idea of creating a "loan out" form up front and elected instead to simply restrict access to certain users for a specific stockroom.. through there the users can access the Assets and through the actual asset form, I've set it up so that a user can sign in and sing out the asset, as well as set up auditing on the table to have a running history of all changes to the asset.
For now this will work for our needs.. I'd like to revisit creating a more user friendly approach to this in future, but for now it accomplishes what we need 🙂
Thanks!!
