How to reset Incident "Default View" for 1 User

Hi all,

one of our Users encountered a little problem that I can´t seem to fix.

Since he logged in today his standard view for all Incident Modules is "Incident Manager".

He cannot select "Default View".

 

Where can I find the problem?

Tried this in my personal instance, it works fine:

  • open the user preference table and search by the name of the preferences with the table name of the list view
  • delete the user preference for that specific user

We had a similar issue.  Have the user go to the list layout of open incidents and then click on the burger menu (find_real_file.png).  See if they have the default view available.

we already tried this.

This specific User cannot see the View "Default View".

You may want to put in a HI ticket.  Ours was a bug where if the user accidentally changed there view in the form layout they could not change it back unless they here in the list layout.

I tried changing the User Preferences for the "incident.view" and changed that Value from "incident Manager" to system default.

Impersonatet the User -> no change.

It looks like this View is stuck to the User, for that reason I looked into the View Rules only to find no Rule which is applied to the incident table or the specified View.

 

Someone got another hint for me? 🙂
