There are several 'Approvals' Core Activities that can be used for that purpose.

i.e Approval - Group, Approval - User

Hi paraspuri,

In the workflow when you create catalog task at that time you can provide a condition there that when state changes to close and after that you can attach the approval to it., either approval user or approval group from workflow core activities.
