How to Troubleshoot a slow Instance Performance after Computer was reimaged

Only one user instance is running slow after the computer was reimaged. All other instances for other users is working just fine. I think this is as a result of the work done on the computer as other applications on this computer seem to be working fine. Prior to the reimage of the computer, SNOW worked well but the issues persisted even after troubleshooting and clearing cache for the instance/user. Any advise on how to troubleshoot this issue? Thank you!

Hi Kiff

Based on your screenshot the network side the performance is very good, server & browser side it is Ok. server side response time is higher which mean that system is taking more time to process the request/query.  You can find that in the slow transaction/slow queries module in system diagnostic application. setup the filter what time user reported the issue. You will see multiple transactions there. you can check which transaction has taken more time to process.

Hi Kiff

There are multiple things to check for the instance performance when a user is complaining the slow performance.

1. On the instance scroll down and goto the right corner. You will find a watch icon. Click on that and check the response time. It will tell you where the slowness is .Whether it i network, server or browser.

2. You can check the slow transactions and slow queries in system diagnostic application menu. This will give you the details which script or form ,etc is taking more time to run. And , then you can look into those transaction to eliminate the slowness.

3. Last,Please log a HI ticket in servicenow HI portal.Support team will help you out.

Hello Harsh,

Thanks for responding. Please, based on your understanding (I am fairly new to this), which would you think is giving the most issue according to the attached screenshot? Thanks
