Hi,

I would like to create an Incident report in Eureka based on what times of the day/night Incidents are logged. I support are Global service that is 24/7 so I need to see a trend of what times Incidents are logged by my team.

Can someone assist in pointing me in the right direction.

Thanks

Hi Simon!

Coincidentally I had posted something similar in a previous blog: Workload trend report (time-of-day, day-of-week)

What you do is create a report of type "Trend" and then for the Trend field value you select hour.

Finally, you put your filters on as needed and Voila!

You can also do this for workload of "Day of week" which will come in very handy for your purpose as well.

Hi William,

Can I ask what "Table" you are using to pull this report from, or is it something that needs to be created in the system ?

William... Actually Ignore that reply I think I have it...

Can I ask if you are running your "time of day "report over a 24 hour period ?

Hi Simon!

I see you figured out the table was whatever table you are making the report on, so in this case, incident, and you use a date/time field for the trend field, be it "created", "closed", or whatever other timestamp you want to trend for.

I currently do not have a permanently established report for this, but I do use it every now and then for specific purposes.
