Issue with ITSM Simulator: Configure change notifications

I had no issue with the "Disable notification" task it is task 2 that I am having an issue with.

2. User should not be able to unsubscribe from below listed notifications (make these notifications mandatory):

So for this task, I have added the "mandatory" field to the form and checked it for all notifications and it won't validate. I have also tried removing the Email template from the notifications to get rid of the "unsubscribe" links at the bottom of the notifications.

Is there something I'm missing?

Hi Dave,

I had a similar issue with this exercise. My problem was that I had added the mandatory field to one of the tabs in the middle. I removed it from there and added it to the top of the form instead underneath the category drop down. Give that a go? It might just be the validation check expects the field there.

I figured it out, I changed "Change task. assigned..." instead of just "Change assigned..". But thank you for your response.

insted of doing all these directly u can go to Notifications and find below listed recod then add a option called Mandatory and enable this option to below listed recods as well then hit the Validate task i think it will work.

--Change assigned to my group

--Change assigned to me

-- Change rejected

-- Change approved
