KM subscription notifications: Prevent one notification if user is subscribed to an article and kb

Hello all,

we are planning to use the ootb km subscription notifications and it's triggers:

- KM Subscription: Article revised

- KM Subscription: Article revised in KB

If a user subscribed to the article and also to it's Knowledge Base (kb), both notifications with almost the same content will be send to the user.

Is it possible to only send one notification by adjusting the advanced condition within the "When to send" tab?

E.g. If the user subscribed to the article and to its KB, to only send the notification "KM Subscription: Article revised in KB" and prevent sending the other notification "KM Subscription: Article revised"?

Hi @Qui-Thong Chau ,

You can try setting the Weight field values different for these two notifications. e.g. 10 or 20.

The notification with the highest weight value will be sent to user.

Kindly go to Notification Advanced condition > When to Send > Weight.

You can try leveraging the Weight field. Please set Weight values different for both the notifications. e.g. 10, 20.

The notification with higher weight will be triggered to user. 

When there are same recipients to multiple notifications, this field comes very handy!

Notifications Advanced > When to Send > Weight
