Managing Servicenow implementation stories and QA artifacts

Hello,

We are implementing ServiceNow by using agile methodology, with sprints, creating stories, creating test scripts for those stories and testing them after story development (proper SDLC-QA process). My question is, once you get to the production where you take ServiceNow across the enterprise, what do you do with ServiceNow Stories, test scripts, planning docs and other artifacts that were part of ServiceNow Implementation project? We are thinking of leveraging Project Portfolio suite or a Project management plugin to protect those artifacts. But would like to know if any of you who successfully implemented ServiceNow also protected those artifacts and how helpful it is later?

Thanks in advance!

Hi  Indhudurai,

Yes, you can migrate all the stories and ServiceNow Implementation project artifacts into ServiceNow Prod bucketing them on Agile Development 2.0. This may require your company subscribing to ServiceNow for this plugin to allow you have the features and functionalities.

After the migration, you will need to apply naming convention approach to distinguish all the stories/themes/Sprint/releases/projects from post implementation activities.

Has anyone tried to store the ServiceNow implementation project artifacts? We are thinking to have them stored in our production platform, so we can back refer it during later upgrades and feature addition. We don't want to lose all the stories/implementation details that goes in startnow. Any input will be very helpful.

Thanks
