Good afternoon.!
I have a requirement to start a service in a Mid-server. I have logged-in to a mid-server hosted on Windows OS, and I went to "Services" from start bar, and I want to start a service. But it keeps failing and gives me the below error:
"Windows could not start the ServiceNow MID Server_--- 01 PROD on Local computer. For more information, review the System Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code 1."
Do you know what this error mean? Please help on how to start this service.
I also went to our ServiceNow Mid-server table for this server and checked that it is currently down, and I found the below error:

A "service-specific error code 1" for a ServiceNow MID Server commonly indicates an authorization or permission issue with the Windows account configured to run the service. The account lacks the necessary rights to start the service or perform required operations.
The Windows account used to run the MID Server service doesn't have local administrative rights or the "Log on as a service" permission.
Check this post , if it helps.
