Perhaps this is a quirk of the new Polaris UI... We have a "Related Incidents" UI Macro associated with our configuration item field.
In UI16, when we click the related incidents button, this modal pops up:
Note the funnel icon that allows you to modify the filter if you'd like.
However, using the same button in the new Polaris/Next UI, the funnel icon is missing:
Does anyone know how to get the funnel icon back in the new UI in order to make filters editable on modal popups?
Thanks!

Figured this out on my own.
This appears to be a "feature" of the new UI and ServiceNow moving buttons around for no reason. The funnel icon is no longer next to the filter, but rather on the title bar for the list. The title bar is not visible in the modal, so you aren't able to modify a filter from that view. The workaround is to right click the filter and open in new window to get your funnel icon.
