Notification icon on portal home page

Hello,

My requirement is to show notification icon (bell icon) on service portal home page (near profile logo).

How can I achieve this? Please help!

i tried the same and it is showing bell icon in the header, but the functionality is different, can anyone let me know which page to select while creating sub-menu, currently i have chosen requests which is showing all tickets for the profile but i want to see the real-time notifications
