I have an ITIL user who has personalized the list columns in the Release Task List, which shows at the bottom of the Release Form. To personalize she selected "Reset to column defaults" clicked OK and then went back in to update the columns and saved the settings.
Everything stays as she left it for a while, but at some point (at least by overnight) what is displayed seems to reset to the default columns/fields.
The fields that show are the following, which is what the administrator personalized:
Number
Short description
Priority
State
Updated
But when we look at the Selected side she has the following Fields in this order:
Number
Short description
Priority
State
Opened by
Opened
Closed
Assigned to
Any idea what I need to do to allow these personalized list column selections to stick?

I also have users reporting this same issue. Several have stated that it happens many times a day. Hopefully, someone will have an answer.

Same over here. I was actually searching the discussion group to see if other installations were having the same problem. Our user is an experience ITIL user and she has been reporting and documenting the problem. So it's a pretty reliable source and there's not much chances it comes from a mistake. It's random and doesn't occur everyday.
We did investigation to see where those values can be overwritten when displaying, but we didn't find anything. It's like if the value in the personalized list from the user where not read before displaying. Like Eric Wilks mentions it: the fields displayed are different from the fields selected and the problem occurs in the tasks list. The user has to unselect and reselect the fields to get the display wanted.
Anybody having the same issue? We're using Calgary version. Anybody knows if it's corrected in Eureka?

Hi Steve - I show that PRB570571 should be fixed in Eureka. For more information please see KB0522575 (though at this time, you will need to log into HI.service-now.com to access the article).
Thanks!
Kylin

Just found out the "fix" in Eureka for this problem is to allow you to disable the cogwheel on related lists. This will prevent users from personalizing the list and affecting other users with the same role. I wouldn't call this fixed - just avoiding the problem.
