Personalized List Columns are reset to column defaults nightly

I have an ITIL user who has personalized the list columns in the Release Task List, which shows at the bottom of the Release Form.   To personalize she selected "Reset to column defaults" clicked OK and then went back in to update the columns and saved the settings.

Everything stays as she left it for a while, but at some point (at least by overnight) what is displayed seems to reset to the default columns/fields.

The fields that show are the following, which is what the administrator personalized:

Number

Short description

Priority

State

Updated

But when we look at the Selected side she has the following Fields in this order:

Number

Short description

Priority

State

Opened by

Closed

Any idea what I need to do to allow these personalized list column selections to stick?

Count me in. I've also heard this problem from various users who were keen enough to realize it.

We are also experiencing this with all Roles, not just ITIL.

This may or may not be related but I've noticed in Eureka, when you click the cog to personalize your list, if you have already personalized the list, the "Reset Column Defaults" button is available to push.   But here's the rub, if you click on the left column of the slushbucket then click ENTER (I'm not sure why I seem to always want to hit Enter here) instead of the Add arrow button, the Personalize Columns popup disappears and the lists are reset.

This is really annoying as I do this every few weeks and my list view resets to default.

I like previous recommendations to make the default view of the list "usable my most people" but it seems that it's a poor user experience to have the Reset button become default for Enter and provide no confirmation window.

Did anyone get this fixed? I'm on Geneva and still having the problem (ITIL user).

ctomasi Any info on this? Does this happen on your test OOB instance as well?

srphayre Did you guys ever get this fixed?

I've never heard of this. It seems others have which might indicate a PRB may be out there. I'd check with support.
