Populate 'Risk Value' field on Change Request Form after Risk Assessment

Hi forum

We want to populate field called 'Risk Value' on the Change form with the Risk Assessment's total value based on which it marks Risk as low, medium or high.

Please guide if it is possible and if we have any Business rule and script include to populate it.

Any guidance is really appreciated.

Hi Anupam,

What you are describing is OOTB functionality.  You need to follow a series of steps to define the questions being asked, the weighting for each possible answer and the thresholds for low, medium and high.  Having done that, the fields populate automatically when the risk assessment is completed.  Here's the link to the documentation on doing that.

You might want to take a look at the Run Risk Calculation and Calculate Risk BRs on change_request.

I have created my own script include as well as BR to populate the 'Risk Value' field in Change as I did not want to change oob functionality.
