Regarding the permissions held by the requester

In ServiceNow, there appears to be a role called "Requester." Could you clarify what type of user this role designates and what permissions or responsibilities are associated with it?

Thank you for your response.
I now understand the role of the requester.
Could you please clarify what specific permissions are granted to a user referred to as a "requester"?

Hi @matsui_shin ,

In ServiceNow, a Requester is a user who submits service catalog requests and can view or track their own requests, typically without requiring any special roles.

Responsibilities of a Requester -

  • Submits requests via Service Catalog.

  • Tracks the status of their requests.

  • May be required to approve or provide additional input.

  • Often receives notifications about changes to their requests or tasks.

Thank you for your response.
I now understand the role of the requester.
