Regarding Update Set Connection btn 2 instances

Hi All,

I am trying to connect 2 PDI instances via update set for that first step is to create the update source so while creating it is throwing me an error saying password/uname issue. 

I am attaching the screenshot,here in the username and password we do have to provide the uname and password of other instance correct? I am providing the right credentials but it is still throwing me an error?

Did any1 face this kind of situation?

Hi there,

What is the error exactly? Or might this due to using a username/password of a user that has MFA enabled? It should be a user without.

Hi Mark,

 

No MFA enabled,both are PDI's created by me. I haven't enabled such thing.

I will attach the error screenshot,please have a look.

Its Mandatory right before moving the changes to another instance,both the instances should be connected na?

Those credentials would be another instance login credentials right?
