Related Link (on Related List) Not Showing on Form for Approvals

Hello, I'm hoping this will be an easy one. The issue I'm running into is a custom UI action (List Link) isn't showing for resending approvals on a requested item when it should be.

I can get it to show as long as an approval in the "requested" state is on the bottom of the related list, but if the bottom-most approval on said list is "approved", the link will not show. As a more-permanent workaround, I did add it to the list choices as well, which technically solves the issue. However, I really want this to show as a List Link when it should be.

UI Action:

Not showing:

Showing:

Logically that sounds true, i am sure they might have a counter if there are two or more requested state approval records - does it still show two links or one ?

Workaround:-
May be you sort the approval related list from "A to Z" then R will be at the bottom always as the others are A, N, C.

Kinda workaround for someone who wants to do this in future.

Definitely this needs to be investigated in detail with SN team.

Maybe because you can not have a resend button for approval that should be resent.

As one of them is approved and one is requested.

That is what makes the most sense, but one would think logically that if one of the approvals on the list matches the condition of "state = requested", then that list link should show.

The part that throws any logic so far out the window is that it will show if you put the approval in "requested" at the bottom of the list either through sorting or adding in orders (and reloading the form afterwards).

The only thing I can come up with is that it treats the lowest order (or bottom-most item when no orders are used) as the "current" in the related list.

That is the second workaround I might just have to do until / if they can come back with some better method. (First being using the list choice in tangent with list link) Somewhat minor issue with a couple of different workarounds, but a fair-sized impact on user satisfaction.

I'll put in a HI ticket to see if they can fix it.

Marking that one correct so if somebody comes across it until it is truly fixed in the system so they see it.
