Hi,
I want to create an "access request" within ServiceNow for our Security Provisioning analyst. They work with creating/modifying/disabling active directory user account, folder/group permissions, exchange access, giving access to other systems, etc... Can someone please refer me how to get this going? Maybe something simple to start off with. We are currently using a paper form that requires manager or directory signature that is email or faxed to the analyst. They would often receive around 50 of these items per day. This is very tedious work for them and they are the only ones not using ServiceNow. I would think somehow using a Service Catalog would be best. Can someone refer me to documentation in this use case?

everbake, it is very common that companies want their forms to be converted as catalog items in service now. You should take a look at one of the existing demo items that we ship in SN instance. Like firewall rule change request form or group modifications request form. You can copy it and rename, add variables as required to make it work for your requirement. You can learn more about creating catalog items, etc from Part 6 of this video series or this webinar: Service Catalog: How to quickly realize value . Based on your requirement you might want to create a order guide and include multiple request forms in one.

rohantyagi Is Order Guides a data driven functionality or is there a dependency on release cycles?

It's data driven. Nothing to do with release cycles
