Requested Item state is being stuck to "Pending" by default. Can you please assist what could be possible issue.

Hi,
Is it happening for all requests raised from all catalog items or only for the request that associated with one of catalog item?
Check the workflow associated with the catalog item, may be state is setting to pending via workflow.

In the list view I can see correct state value that is "Open" however on Form view the state value is defaulting to "Pending" even if I manually change the value it is defaulting to "Pending".

Check client scripts on RITM table. May be client script might setting the state to pending.
Is it happening for all RITMs?
