Is there space on the upcoming SN roadmap for improved image management? Content contributors / submitters like to post huge screen captures. They do not like to resize their images locally before upload. Every other social media service they use in their daily life allows them to shoot out images of all sizes without considering issues like display or file size.
It seems overdue then for SN to offer more built-in image capabilities for:
- Fast drag and drop batch upload of multiple images.
- Admin constraints on image upload dimensions for height / width or other properties.
- Dynamic resize and resample image files. The current resize fields in the image upload utility simply change the width / height display properties. This really does nothing to make the image file size smaller and frequently distorts the image quality.
- Offer a built-in shadowbox / modal window display option for enlargements.

There is a option to Zip upload multiple images at a time.

Thanks Kalai, but the Image Zip upload is not what we need either. Our users are accustomed to posting photos on Facebook etc from anywhere without needing to resize them, optimize them for web delivery, and then zip them all together.

Up on this one. We are already in 2023 and I hope ServiceNow will provide us options to compress images to lesser file sizes. Not compressing to zip files.
