If you are still blocked, let me know and I will take a look on your instance. I am assuming this is your personal dev instance.

Hi Avishek,

From the image, it looks like you created a new catalog, rather than a new category. (By the way, you spelled Marketing incorrectly.)

  • Go to Service Catalog> Catalogs
  • Hover over the catalog you just created and click the Pencil icon shown below
    • find_real_file.png
  • Correct the spelling and save the record.
  • Check the related lists at the bottom to see if there are any catalog items and categories defined for this new catalog
    • find_real_file.png

For the category... Check to see if you have any items that are using that category.

  • Go to Service Catalog> Maintain Categories
  • Open the record for the new category you created
  • If you look at the related lists at the bottom of the category, check if there are any items using this category (see the count in the image below)

If there are no items using the category, it likely won't show anything.

Is this issue resolved? I am stuck at same point

As suggested in this post, Category "Event Requests" has got two catalog items in it "Request Marketing Event" (i.e. record producer) and "Test catalog item" (i.e. of type catalog item) but still I cannot see above category under new service catalog definition "Marketing Events catalog".
