Service Catalog review process

I am trying to bring in a process so that Catalog owners can review the catalog items annually. I am struggling to figure out what would be the best action items which they can review annually.

I have few in mind mentioned below.

1) No of catalog items which was never requested over a years time

2) No of catalog items which was never updated over a years time

3) No of catalog items which has same title and short description ( This has potential AI Search impact )

4) No of catalog items where available for field is empty. \

I am not 100% sure if it makes sense to review these items or if I am missing  some other key aspects which a Catalog owner can review to ensure Service Catalog is up to date and ensure a consistent user experience is provided.

Gjagz,

Good idea here.   You could make a custom table x_catalog_metrics   and then everytime an update occurs or title updates you write the values to table with a time stamp.  You can then use that table for reporting.

A scheduled job could be created that looks at last updated/created date and emails the owner of the form to review and reply to email if any updates are needed or if you can push out the expiration another year.

Thanks,

Jason

Thanks Jason!  Currently we have all Catalog items listed under maintain items and from where I could see the data for reporting.

DO you see any other potential things which can be reviewed yearly to ensure Catalog health is maintained. I am looking out to ensure I am not missing key points which we would review and have a significant value in doing so.

Thanks,

Gautam
