Service Portal -Approval or Rejection

Hi, 

 

When I click "My Approval" and select an approval record in the service portal.

It allows me to approve or reject the RITM, however I cannot add a comment why I'm rejecting a request. 

 

Only place I can add a comment is in the RITM, but this will not add the comment to the approval record, so my approval email notification comments are always blank. 

 

 

Is there a way around this?

This is something which can be done, there's 2 ways which people can approve through the portal which is through the "Approval" or "Approval Info" widgets. As such the widgets would need to be cloned and HTML Template and the Client Scripts would need to be amended to handle a pop up.

Do you know if its been customized since its implementation? If so can you share your widget scripts?

No we have not customized the widget yet. 

I prefer to have window populate when clicked on Reject ( like the one you shared and comments added in that window appends to the approval record.
