Translating Service Catalog Variables

I am trying to configure snow for multiple languages and have installed the german plug in. When I view a Catalog item in either UI or ESS site the standard cat item field names are displayed in german but catalogue variables are not. Has anyone applied translation to catalog variables and can advise if further configuration is required

I have created record producer. I have a requirement to translate record producer in different language.

I want to know how exactly variables (Question) will translate. I have tried but didn't work for me.

How you setup a value in value field. Would you please help me in process steps from start to end.

The variables of the record producer are translated in the "Translated Name / Fields" table:

Value is the text of your questions. and Lable(translate) holds the translation.

The name, short description and description are translated in the tabel "Translated Text":

One final question, how did you translate the value. Google translate English to Spanish   would be fine to translate.

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly. We translated from English/German to French and Italian by colleagues that are native French or Italian.

We almost never use Google Translate.
