Translating Service Catalog Variables

I am trying to configure snow for multiple languages and have installed the german plug in. When I view a Catalog item in either UI or ESS site the standard cat item field names are displayed in german but catalogue variables are not. Has anyone applied translation to catalog variables and can advise if further configuration is required

Hi christina,

I was trying to load some of the variabels in spanish language and the variables have been successfully translated. The Label is showing in Spanish when i change my default language to Spanish. However, I tried to change the choicelist values also using the table name 'question_choice'. I created it in the Translation field table, but it is not visible when I change my default language to Spanish.   Have you faced this?

What do you do when you have created a new sys_translated record but the translated text isn't showing up?   Not even after flushing the browser cache and performing cache.do on the instance?

I do have the similar requirement to translate the language in French. I am able to do it for all the Variables but I cant able to change the field messages for my record producer for some variables as per the below screenshot.

Can you please let me know how to change the messages marked in red to French?
