Trying to setup Auditing on Asset Table

Hey all..

I have gone through the steps of setting up auditing on the alm_asset table and can see the results but only on one specific change that is made within a form.

For example, if I'm in a stockroom and I had an asset, I click on it and I have setup the initial form showing the asset data.. there is another section that I've set as "device history" which shows the audit log of that item. If I change the state from "in use" to "in stock" the changes are updated here each time, however no other fields within the form are shown there after being changed or updated.. so lets say I update a field in that form that is "vendor" or "purchase order", the log does not show this change.

I have gone in and set the alm_asset collection to Audit within the Dictionary.. I tried to do this for the alm_hardware, cmdb_ci_hardware etc.. all are set to audit, yet it does not now show changes..

Am I missing something??

You might have customize the activities to get that to show up:

You know, I tried to go back through the steps I took to achieve this and can't recall how (I had set this up several weeks back) and now I can't remember what I did.

I know I setup a separate section in the form and then added a specific field, but that field contains the activity of the item.. sorry I don't have more succinct direction on this. I did reference the Wiki when trying to figure it out a couple weeks back...

Yep! That's the one
