HI Rupshing,

Sorry I realized I was wrong. You do not need to disable the client scripts for that - you   can re-enable - there may be a good reason why they are in place.

There is however a list control option on both Asset and CI lists, which says "omit if empty", meaning the Asset and CI embedded list do not show if there is no associated CI or Asset with the given Hardware model.

You can check this setting with a record where you see the embedded list:

Again, there may be a good reason for this configured that way, that it is not advised to relate CIs / Assets to hardware from this place if there is none already.

Please let me know if this helped.

Best regards,

Andras

Might be a different CI class and you might be restricted by ACLs. Try as admin to Debug ACLs and see what's the difference between those 2 CIs for that embedded section.

Hi Sergiu,

Thanks for the reply.

It is not allowing me to enter any record from any class, as you can see in the screenshot...

HI Rupsingh,

Can you pls check if the Model Category of your Hardware record is "Bundle" by any chance - where you experience that CIs embedded is disabled ?

As there is a client script "Hide sections when needed" on [cmdb_model] table which seems to disable the Configuration items embedded list for Bundles.

Please let me know if this helped.

Hi Andras,

Thanks for the reply.

I have disabled those client scripts, and made changes to model category as you explained.

But still it is not allowing me to insert any record.
