Does anyone know if it is possible to allow non-admins the ability to select an update set? The use case for this is that we have multiple users with the workflow admin and catalog admin roles and we would like to easily capture their work on workflows and new catalog items in unique update sets that they are able to select. These users do not have the administrator role, nor do we want them to have that role.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Quan,
This should be easy to implement by following the steps on this wiki page:
Administering Update Sets - ServiceNow Wiki
You need to navigate to the sys_property_list.do page and look for the glide.ui.update_set_picker.role property. Here you can set the role that you would like to give the access to.
Let me know if you get stuck.
Cheers, Adam

Hi,
Yes I think it was a caching issue. I don't give them access to the update module itself but create the update sets for them and then they select them from the top menu bar
