Walkup queue and queue on site login

Hi,

We have a problem with the fact that its required to have a login for Walkup Queue and Walkup Queue On Site UI cause of the fact that there's often reboots or time out for sessions or else. So each time, people have to all to log in users on those systems. We'll have like 12 sites with that kind of setup and its a bit annoying.

Anyone have found a way to actually make it like a real kiosk and queue display?

Thanks !

Another way to look at it:
If any of you deployed the Walk-Up Experience, how did you configure the display to showing the
Walk-Up Queue?

We can't figure out how can you manage to put this on a kiosk display without having to manually connect to the page every now and then ((since it require a login).

@JFHallee @Mathieu Proulx I came across this article trying to figure out the same thing!  Have you come up with a way to make this work that you can share?  Currently we are using a Wyse terminal (dumb terminal) that will auto launch a citrix link to the SN walkup queue but since we dont have SSO turned on yet its not auto logging into the machine.  I think maybe once we setup SSO it may work and auto login.  Curious if you have figured out a solution.

Thanks

Hi,

Unfortunatly not yet but I wonder why would SSO help you achieve that goal? Cause we do have SSO and after a reboot, im not sure it would still work. Also, our SSO now requires MFA mandatory so we're stuck with using SN side door 😞

Hi,

We're currently in a similar situation and looking for suggestions regarding login and using in multiple locations and displaying the walk-up queue on TV. I realize it's been two years since you posted this, but if you've identified a process that works well for this use case and could share any insights, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
